Inksteady, also known as Idy, is an author from Laguna. She is 22, born July 16, 2000. She graduated Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Laguna State Polytechnic University. Idy started writing on Wattpad on September 9, 2020, amidst the pandemic. She has two novel series that include three published stories. She advocates mental health awareness using her works that tackle mental health and other issues that are happening in society. She is one of my inspirations and motivation to be a better person because reading her stories and listening to her words will make you realize how important your peace and self-worth are and will help you grow and improve.
THINGS I LOVE ABOUT HER
There are so many reasons to love Idy. She is a good role model for the youth: a role model who's an eye-opener and serves a purpose, a mental health advocate, and a listener. But there are three things that I love the most about her— being passionate, an advocate, and her willingness to learn. She's the type of person who gives her best on things she does, and you can see it in her work. She uses her works and platform to spread awareness to people about society, especially mental health. She gives advice and inspirational messages to people that will give them the motivation to continue and be grateful for life.
These are my favorite lines from her:
“Don't compare the small steps you've taken to the giant leaps that others have made.”
“Don't be afraid of making one (mistake); be afraid of not learning from it.”
“You don't have to defeat your demons. You just have to learn how to live above them.”
“Self-love is not selfish”
“Even though being strong feels like the only option you have right now, make sure to take pride in the victories you've won, the rough roads you've walked, and the overwhelming waves you've surfed, no matter how trivial you think they seem.”
“Always choose happiness without hurting anyone in the process.”
“Reaching out for help is brave.”
STORIES THAT YOU MUST READ
She has one stand-alone story and two novel series; College series and The Losers' Club Series. Dosage of Seroton;n (Serotonin) is a stand-alone story and is one of the finest novels that she wrote among all her works. The story is dedicated to people who are pressured and feels like running out of time. This serves as a reminder that it is okay to put yourself first and the struggles of students are REAL struggles.
Her first series is College Series. Chasing the Sun is a story of love, family, dreams, and forgiveness. Taming the Waves is a story about mental health, family, frienship, and love. This story is dedicated to people who were fighting their battles silently. Loving the Sky is a story about love, family, motherhood, dreams, and friendship. These stories will definitely help you to learn and realize things that will help you to be better.

Then, the second series is The Losers's Club Series. These books is a story of a group of friends that came from orphanage called Bahay Tuluyan and decided to live together when they turned seventeen. They were named Karsen, Mari, Mill, and Kat. These stories are about love, family, dreams, friendship, and faith. Just like College Series, these stories will help you have a better understanding of life, health, and issues that many people are facing right now.
